Why should I choose E.S.M. instead of another school?
There are many well established makeup schools that offer good education but unfortunately it comes with a high price tag. E.S.M. offers students a great education, a great financing option and instructors whom are leaders within the makeup industry and are passionate about the craft all at a low tuition cost.
Our goal is to give our students the foundation they need to build a successful career as a makeup artist. In addition, we support our students throughout their careers, not just while in school. Our students are like family to us and upon graduating they continue to represent E.S.M. throughout their careers. We want to make sure that our students become the best makeup artists they can be and are assured that we are behind them every step of the way.

How can you help me in my career?
We have strong connections in the fashion industry overseas and also work closely with the entertainment industry here in Los Angeles. We have established positive business relationships with industry professionals that often call us with opportunities for our students.

Is the kit included in the tuition?
Yes, the kit is included in the tuition. It is a basic kit that will have each student well prepared for class and their careers. We use Kryolan products which offers a wide variety of high end products.

Do I need to purchase any additional makeup for class?
No. The kit that you will receive has everything needed for class as well as working in the industry upon graduation. Many makeup schools make a constant effort to get students to purchase more makeup in order to make more of a profit. At E.S.M. we encourage students to experiment with new products and build their kits but that is completely at the discretion of the student.

Do I need to bring anything with me to class?
Yes. It is important for students to take notes during lectures and demos. We require students to bring a notebook, a pen or pencil, a highlighter and a marker (any color). Students will be given written material when needed. Instructors will advise you students when to bring in models for lab time. It is the students responsibility to find models which is not difficult to do. Last but not least bring a positive attitude and the passion for makeup that is in you.

What are your payment options?
We offer our students a very good finance plan that will make paying for tuition very easy and affordable. We do require full payment of tuition cost by the end of your class. You will need to pay 10% of tuition cost as deposit before attending your class, and and the rest will be broken up in to three equal payments (30%) due by the first business day of each month of class. If this is not possible, we can discuss other payment options that will work with you budget.
